Our international collaborator Gabriel Alberto-Mireles, from the University of Sonora (Mexico), together with our colleagues Mª Ángeles Moraga, Félix O. García and Coral Calero, have published the article Sustainability in the Field of Software Engineering: A Tertiary Study in the journal ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology (TOSEM).
The article presents a tertiary study on sustainability in the field of software engineering, for which 80 systematic reviews were selected. The result is a structured and up-to-date overview of software sustainability, clarifying the definitions and approaches adopted to address it, identifying the predominant dimensions and detecting the limitations and emerging trends in the area.
