The environmental cost of
AI

On February 5th, our colleague Coral Calero, Director of the Green Algorithms area at the Observatory on the Social and Ethical Impact of Artificial Intelligence (OdiseIA), was interviewed in episode 87 of the podcast "Chronicles of the Anthropocene," titled "The Environmental Cost of AI." "Chronicles of the Anthropocene" is a public science communication project dedicated to presenting socio-environmental issues in the context of the current conditions of the planet. It is produced by the Museum of Environmental Sciences and the General Coordination of Social Communication of the University of Guadalajara, Mexico.
