Energy consumption of applications: pollution without leaving home

Our colleague Coral Calero was interviewed by Nova Ciencia, a monthly publication on university, science and business whose paper version is distributed in 12 universities in five autonomous communities in southern Spain. The interview addresses the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on the environment. The report explains the work being carried out by the Alarcos group to improve the energy consumption of software.
