Coral Calero and Marcela Genero on Cadena Ser radio

Our colleagues Coral Calero and Marcela Genero have been invited to participate in the program "Hoy por hoy Ciudad Real y Provincia" of Cadena Ser, on June 23, for having been distinguished in the "Ranking TOP 5000 - Spanish and foreign female researchers in Spain according to Google Scholar" published by the CSIC.

In this interview our colleagues comment on what it means to be part of this ranking, they present their main lines of research, Coral referred to Software Engineering applied to the construction of sustainable software in order to raise awareness of energy saving software. Marcela highlighted the relevance of the quality of data models and data in the era of digital transformation where various technologies such as the internet of things, cloud computing and social networks, among others, are producing an avalanche of data.

In addition, both emphasized the various activities that the School of Computer Science has been doing to promote the Degree in Computer Engineering and to awaken the vocation for this degree among girls and teenagers.
