Green Algorithms: the sustainable future of AI

On 20 May 2022, our colleague Coral Calero attended the conference "Green Algorithms: the sustainable future of AI" organised by DigitalES, the Spanish Association for Digitalisation. At the conference, the document prepared by was presented, which includes the 10 challenges for the development of environmentally sustainable Artificial Intelligence, DigitalES identifies the 10 major challenges for sustainable AI in Spain - DigitalES Association. This was followed by a round table discussion on "Green Algorithms: the challenge of developing sustainable AI" in which Coral participated along with Enrique Mendoza, Solution Manager, IBM; Carlos Llorca Quevedo, Director of Consulting and Digital Acceleration at the Levante Agency, Sopra Steria and Pedro Antonio de Alarcón, Head of Big Data for Social Good, Core Innovation - Chief Digital Officer, Telefónica.
